CSX Q703 travels under me in Edison, NJ on 5/22/11. This began the Sunday portion of my weekend. Notice the open overhead door.

The first train of the day, NS 22V, rumbles under me on 5/21/11 in Edison, NJ

CP (NS 38Z) Light move flies under me, and gives me a horn show.

CSX Q300's power for the day.

Here was a rare one: UP 5550 leads NS 213 with a C40-9W and C40-9 #8771 trailing. This train also met CSX Q190 With ES44AC #859 leading, and Ex Conrail #7304 trailing.

I was going home and I saw a train far from the Tingley LN crossing. I went to the Inman crossing to catch it. I ran up to the crossing, and as soon as I got there, The signals went off. I ran to set up my tripod, and I made it just in time. Here is NS 33k with three engines at Inman Ave. This ended my day on 5/21/11.

Here was the first train on 5/22/11 (besides MA80), NS 969-H22, a Westbound Powermove.

Lehighline Productions, AKA csx2566, walked down to the yard with me, and we got MA80 down at South Plainfield yard. This was the consist.

Here is CP 38T with a DME SD40-3 leader,  ICE SD40-2 trailing, CP SD40-2, and another ICE SD40-2. I know it is blurred, but I couldn't edit it, due to the fact that I do not have any editing software that can fix it.

Here, the next day, is CSX P951 going about 70MPH in a strictly freight area! Pretty amazing! This was the full train, so I got the full experience.

Here it was going away, leaving us in the dust.

Here, we see CP 38T with CP SD40-2 5910 leading, HLCX SD40-2 8139 Ex BN (kept number), and an old friend, DME SD40-2 6082 Ex CP.

A few minutes later, NS 213, AKA "Mr. Sneaky" shows up with UP SD70ACe 8397

Then, CSX Q418 with windmill parts blows through with some nice power!

Now, the return train for CP 38T, 39Z shows up, with the same power.

On 9/2/11, I went railfanning with the normal crew, and caught some more ridiculous stuff. The first train I saw was NS 212 with UP C40-8 9152 leading!

Here was something I've wanted to see for a long time. NS 68Q creeps through South Plainfield,NJ on the Port Reading Secondary with NS C40-9W 9914 leading, BNSF C44-9W 4166, and BNSF SD70MAC 9713 Ex BN (kept it's number) at 3:27 PM. I am honored to say I've seen something like this in Central New Jersey. I am happy.

Here was NS 18G with an NS SD45-2!

NS 1013 SD70ACe Leads 22V!

On 10/1/11, I had the opportunity to see an all - EMD lashup on an NS mixed freight. It had two SD45-2s in the rear, 1700, and, again, 1705.

Here was an NS SD70M, with the flared radiators. NS 2603 is seen here trailing 2576 on the same train.

Here was a rare catch. CSX 4002 SD40-3 leads CSX Q300 with an ex Conrail C40-8W trailing.

Here is a close up view of the cab. It was a very, very interesting thing to see this unit. It was my first time catching one.

On 12/26/11, with my new camera and lens (Canon T2i with 28-135),  I am back to taking photos! Today I caught CSX 5001 leading CSX Q702.

 On 1/16/12, I woke up at 5:30 in the morning to see what was probably my last Conrail blue painted locomotive. Here it is.

On 2/5/12, I woke up early at 5:00 in the AM to see an SP unit. This was the first train. Here is NS 66Q switching onto the Chemical Coast Secondary.

Here it was, CSX K649 with UP 7321, an AC4460CW, and UP 6272, an AC44CW in Southern Pacific paint!
